Kara LeSiege, MS, OTR, CHT is a Certified Hand Therapist with nearly 30 years of experience in hand and upper-extremity rehabilitation. Her background includes extensive hospital-based hand therapy experience throughout Greater Boston and nearly two decades founding and managing a hand therapy clinic within a privately owned hand surgery practice.

Throughout her career, Kara has worked closely with hand surgeons to develop and refine post-operative rehabilitation protocols as surgical techniques and standards of care evolved. Her experience spans surgical and non-surgical conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow, including fractures, tendon and nerve injuries, joint conditions, arthritis, and repetitive strain injuries.

Before becoming a Certified Hand Therapist, Kara trained as a violinist and earned a master’s degree in performance from the New England Conservatory. Her own performance-related injuries led her to pursue occupational therapy at Boston University. This background informs her understanding of overuse, ergonomics, and performance-related upper-extremity conditions.

Kara now provides expert virtual hand and upper-extremity occupational therapy to patients physically located throughout Massachusetts & Connecticut, offering individualized, evidence-based care through secure telehealth.
